DBB is seeking a Structural Coordinator to lead design coordination across roads, marine, and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. You will work with project managers, designers, contractors, and clients to resolve technical issues and ensure designs meet budgets and schedules.

The role requires a civil/structural engineering degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, with strong communication and coordination skills. BIM coordination experience is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• Typically 5+ years of experience in structural engineering or design coordination.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design packages and managing interfaces.
• Knowledge of relevant structural codes, design standards, and project specs.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Proficiency with engineering and document-management tools; BIM experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate structural design activities across roads, marine, and infrastructure projects.
• Manage interfaces between structural, civil, geotechnical, marine, utilities, and other disciplines.
• Review drawings, calculations, technical specifications, and design deliverables for consistency and compliance.
• Track design progress, deliverables, approvals, and technical queries against project schedules.
• Facilitate design reviews and coordination meetings; document decisions and actions.
• Identify design risks, clashes, and constructability concerns; coordinate resolutions.
• Support development and review of design briefs, scopes of work, submissions, and project docs.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and authorities as required.
• Help ensure designs comply with codes, standards, safety requirements, and specs.
• Support site teams by responding to technical queries and coordinating design changes.
• Maintain records of design comments, revisions, approvals, and interface decisions.
• Contribute to quality assurance, value engineering, and continuous improvement.
