Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of X years in quality control/quality assurance for infrastructure projects.
• CQE or ASQ certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of ASTM/ISO 9001 standards.
• Proficient in quality control tools and testing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive QA/QC plan for the project including procedures, inspection schedules, and checklists.
• Monitor construction activities, materials, and methods for compliance with standards and project specs.
• Conduct regular site inspections, review contractor work, and document deviations or non-conformities.
• Prepare quality reports, test records, and material certifications; ensure documentation is up-to-date.
• Coordinate with project teams, regulators, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and support root-cause analyses.
• Participate in internal and external audits and contribute to lessons learned.
• Coordinate on-site tests (e.g., concrete slump, soil compaction, material strength) to verify compliance.
