Job summary

Khatib & Alami in Dubai seeks an experienced Infrastructure Draftsman with strong expertise in microtunnelling, sewerage, and stormwater drainage to produce accurate drawings aligned with project specs and Dubai authority requirements.

You will prepare CAD drawings for sewerage networks, develop tunnel layouts, and incorporate design changes while coordinating with engineers to resolve discrepancies and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years infrastructure drafting experience with microtunnelling, sewerage and stormwater expertise.
• Consultant-side experience in infrastructure design or supervision preferred.
• UAE project experience and knowledge of Dubai authority requirements preferred.

• Develop microtunnelling drawings including tunnel alignments and shafts.
• Prepare layouts, profiles, cross-sections and construction details.

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Draftsman with strong expertise in microtunnelling, sewerage, and stormwater drainage projects in Dubai, with the ability to prepare accurate engineering drawings in line with project specifications and authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare CAD drawings for sewerage, drainage networks, and underground utilities.
• Develop microtunnelling drawings, including tunnel alignments, launch/reception shafts, pipe profiles, and associated structures.
• Prepare layouts, longitudinal profiles, cross-sections, and construction details.
• Incorporate design changes, site updates, and as-built information into drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers and project teams to resolve drawing discrepancies.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and applicable Dubai authority requirements.
• Check drawings for accuracy, dimensions, levels, gradients, and constructability.
• Maintain drawing revisions and documentation as per project requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of infrastructure drafting experience, with strong expertise in microtunnelling, sewerage, and stormwater drainage.
• Consultant-side experience is preferred, particularly in infrastructure design or supervision.
• UAE project experience and knowledge of Dubai authority requirements are preferred.
• Experience in underground utilities, deep sewer networks, manholes, and shafts.
