Job summary

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank is seeking an experienced information security professional to join Group Risk Management in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and continuously improving security strategies, policies and controls across applications, infrastructure and cloud environments within the banking sector.

Ideal candidates will have 4–5+ years in information security and related fields, with strong analytical skills and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
• 4–5+ years in Information Security, Cyber Security, Technology Risk, Security Architecture, Application Security, Security Compliance or related fields.
• Experience in banking, financial services or highly regulated industry preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, CIS Controls and related regulatory requirements.
• Understanding of secure application development, security architecture, vulnerability and risk management.
• Experience supporting security governance, compliance reviews, audits, regulatory engagements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
• Preferred: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CISA, ISO 27001 certifications.

Responsibilities

• Support design, implementation and continuous improvement of the Bank's information security strategy, policies, standards and procedures.
• Identify, assess and manage information security risks across applications, infrastructure, cloud environments and processes.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and cybersecurity frameworks in banking.
• Collaborate with technology teams to embed security into systems and digital initiatives.
• Review security architectures and controls across projects.
• Conduct security assessments, risk reviews and remediation recommendations.
• Support governance, risk and compliance activities including audits and reporting.
• Monitor cyber threats and regulatory developments to strengthen security posture.
• Engage stakeholders to address security findings and risk issues.
• Assist incident response, investigations and remediation as required.
• Contribute to security awareness and education across the Bank.
• Prepare security reports and risk assessments for governance forums.
• Drive continuous improvement of information security controls and processes.
