Equiti Group in Dubai is seeking an Information Security Associate to help safeguard company systems, data, and infrastructure by implementing and monitoring security controls. The role sits within our dynamic fintech environment.

You will monitor security alerts, assist in vulnerability assessments and incident response, and ensure adherence to security policies and regulatory requirements while maintaining SIEM and endpoint protection tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 0–2 years of IT/security experience.
• Certifications preferred: Security+ or CEH (entry-level).
• Basic cybersecurity knowledge and willingness to learn.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and investigate potential threats.
• Assist in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities.
• Support incident response processes and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain security tools (SIEM, antivirus, endpoint protection).
• Participate in user access reviews and identity management.
• Support security awareness initiatives across the organization.

The role of the Information Security Associateis to support the protection of company systems, data, and infrastructure by assisting in implementing and monitoring security controls.

Responsibilities
