Job summary

Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) in Abu Dhabi is seeking a capable operator for heavy industry support, assisting cell relining operations and related refurbishment tasks. You will prepare tools and equipment, assist in bricks lining, welding, and fabrication, and help maintain safety and housekeeping standards.

The role requires completing PG5 training modules and typically at least one year in heavy industry; forklift licence Category 7 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of PG5 training modules.
• Minimum experience: one year in heavy industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists cell relining operator by preparing all necessary tools and equipment for casting in a safe and efficient manner.
• Operates mobile equipment such as forklift, pay loader, etc., in compliance with safety procedures.
• Assists in bricks lining for cell relining as per required standards and designs.
• Supports superstructure refurbishment, welding and fabrication tasks, and can perform ramming processes.
• Maintains a high standard of housekeeping at all times.
