Job summary

Groupl in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Helper to support daily plant operations at our industrial paper facility. You will assist technicians and engineers, carry loads, and help keep the site clean and safe.

We offer full-time employment with transport and accommodation provided. The role requires physical fitness, willingness to work nights and weekends, and the ability to follow site safety rules in a multilingual environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary school education.
• Prior experience in an industrial manufacturing or construction environment preferred.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour in an industrial setting.
• Willingness to work in shift patterns including nights and weekends.
• Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.
• Ability to follow instructions in a multilingual work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians and engineers with day-to-day maintenance and production tasks.
• Carry load and unload materials tools and equipment as directed.
• Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties within the plant and surrounding areas.
• Support the safe disposal of waste materials in accordance with site HSE guidelines.
• Operate basic hand tools under direct supervision.
• Follow all site safety rules PPE requirements and permit-to-work (PTW) procedures.
• Assist during planned and unplanned maintenance shutdowns.
• Report unsafe conditions or near-miss incidents to the supervisor immediately.
