Job summary

Ecojob in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join the team. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing industrial instrumentation, calibrations, and system testing while ensuring safety standards are upheld.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in industrial instrumentation, strong electrical knowledge, and the ability to read complex diagrams. English communication is required; Arabic is beneficial for collaboration.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience in industrial instrumentation.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems including motors, relays, switches and PLCs.
• Ability to read complex technical diagrams.
• Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
• English communication is essential; Arabic is a plus.
• Awareness of safety standards related to industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair industrial instruments, including calibrations, adjustments, testing and replacements.
• Inspect equipment regularly to ensure safety standards are met.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems such as motors, relays, switches, PLCs and other control systems.
• Prepare reports on findings and make improvement recommendations.
• Assist in training new technicians as needed.
