Overview

The Automation Installation Support Assistant provides hands-on support to engineers and technicians in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of industrial automation systems. This role ensures that automated equipment is installed correctly, tested efficiently, and maintained to optimize production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of automation equipment and systems.
  • Support engineers in programming, troubleshooting, and testing PLCs (e.g., Siemens S7, Allen-Bradley) and HMI / SCADA interfaces.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on automated machinery.
  • Help with wiring, cabling, and sensor integration.
  • Maintain technical documentation, logs, and reports for automation systems.
  • Assist in training operators on the correct use of automated equipment.
  • Support troubleshooting and problem-solving in real-time production environments.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of industrial automation systems (PLCs, sensors, actuators, HMIs, SCADA).
