Indian Merchandiser (Contract)

We are urgently seeking an Indian Merchandiser to join our team on a contract basis in Sharjah, UAE. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and developing product ranges, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring that the products are displayed in an attractive manner in retail stores.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the buying team to plan product ranges according to market trends and customer demand
• Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and on-time delivery
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate with suppliers to replenish stock as needed
• Work closely with retail stores to ensure products are displayed in an appealing manner
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities
• Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements

• Indian nationality preferred
• Fluent in English
• Previous experience in merchandising is not required but considered a plus
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with suppliers
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
