Job summary

The British International School Abu Dhabi is inviting applications for a Student Support Assistant to join our AEN Team. This role focuses on supporting pupils with AEN needs, delivering tailored support inside and outside the classroom, and assisting with differentiated instruction.

Successful candidates will be fluent in English, with an additional language being advantageous. Experience in a school setting and a degree-level education are desirable, as is a compassionate, proactive approach

Qualifications

• Fluent English language speakers.
• Experience in a school environment desirable.
• Degree-level education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with AEN needs across the school.
• Provide targeted support in and out of the classroom, adapting resources and differentiating instruction.
• Contribute to planning, implementation and review of personalised support programmes.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents and other professionals to ensure high-quality support.
• Build positive relationships with students, colleagues and families.
