Job summary

The British International School Abu Dhabi is seeking a Student Support Assistant to join our AEN Team. This learning support role focuses on assisting pupils with AEN needs with targeted support in and out of the classroom, adapting resources and differentiating instruction.

In collaboration with the Head of Inclusion, you will help develop and deliver personalised programmes of support, plan and review progress, and liaise with teachers, parents and other professionals to ensure high-quality,

Qualifications

• Fluent English language skills are required.
• Experience working in a school environment is desirable.
• Degree-level education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with AEN needs across the school, in and out of the classroom.
• Provide targeted support and differentiate instruction to meet individual learning needs.
• Develop and deliver personalised support programmes in collaboration with the Head of Inclusion and teaching staff.
• Plan, implement, and review support plans with teachers, parents and other professionals to ensure consistent, high-quality support.
