Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Phlebotomist or Medical Laboratory Technician.
• Current certification as a Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT).
• Strong technical skills with ability to operate laboratory equipment and perform various tests.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples from patients using proper techniques.
• Label and process samples for testing, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
• Perform various laboratory tests, including blood counts, chemical analyses, and blood typing.
• Record and report test results accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies.
