Job summary

SEHA – Abu Dhabi Health Services Co. seeks a qualified physician to join our Abu Dhabi team. The role includes patient assessment, diagnosis, and planning of treatment within the specialty, aligned with DOH standards.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, supervise trainees, and document thoroughly while engaging in quality improvement and education initiatives to maintain high patient safety and compassionate communication.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent degree from a recognized medical school.
• Completion of a structured clinical residency or fellowship program in the relevant specialization.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience post-specialization.
• DOH Abu Dhabi license or eligibility to practice in Abu Dhabi preferred.
• Current license from country of last practice; good standing with licensing authority.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, take medical histories, and formulate personalized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and administer medications, therapy, or procedures related to the specialty.
• Collaborate with other medical specialists and departments to ensure holistic care.
• Document all clinical information accurately, timely, and in compliance with regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and research to enhance patient safety.
• Provide instruction, guidance, and supervision to junior medical staff and students.
• Communicate clinical information to patients and families and obtain informed consent when required.
