Job summary

The American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst – Budgeting & Reporting to join its Office of Finance. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to support university decisions.

You will work with ERP-enabled processes (Oracle and Banner), develop dashboards, and ensure data integrity and timely reporting for management across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA or CMA is preferred.
• At least 4 years of relevant accounting, reporting and budgeting experience.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis.
• Ensure timely, accurate financial information for decision-making.
• Assist ERP-powered finance processes (Oracle and Banner) and controls.
• Develop dashboards, reports and tools for management oversight.
• Monitor data for discrepancies and coordinate resolutions.
• Support budget controls, forecasting and planning against approved plans.
