Job summary

SEHA in Al Ain is seeking a capable ICU Charge Nurse to provide clinical leadership and oversee the nursing team on each shift. You will coordinate care, ensure adherence to standards, and support safe staffing levels in collaboration with the Nurse Manager.

The role emphasizes emergency response, patient advocacy, medication safety, and interdisciplinary communication to deliver high‑quality, safe patient care in a fast‑paced ICU environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or equivalent).
• DOH license eligibility required or licensing in progress.
• Successful completion of national licensure exams (USA NCLEX-RN or Canada).

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient assessments, planning and evaluating care.
• Coordinate nursing activities and ensure accurate documentation.
• Provide coaching and lead conflict resolution for the nursing team.
• Maintain safe staffing levels in collaboration with Nurse Manager.
• Support emergency response and patient advocacy.
• Promote evidence‑based practice and professional portfolio upkeep.
