Job summary

Anotech in Dubai, UAE, seeks a Commissioning Instrumentation and Control Lead to steer the I&C/ICSS commissioning scope for complex oil and gas projects. You will plan, coordinate, and oversee FATs, loop checks, and system integration, ensuring safe handover and on-time project milestones.

Ideal candidates bring 15+ years in ICSS commissioning, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of ESD, Fire and Gas, SCADA, PLCs, and metering systems within Oil & Gas environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Control Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects with strong ICSS commissioning experience.
• Proven experience commissioning complex control and safety systems, including ESD, Fire and Gas, SCADA, PLCs, and metering systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all Instrumentation and Control System commissioning activities.
• Review commissioning procedures, test plans, check sheets, and system completion documentation.
• Coordinate FAT, loop checks, functional tests, and system integration activities.
• Supervise the testing and commissioning of ICSS, ESD, Fire and Gas, SCADA, PLC, metering, analyses, and other instrumentation systems.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, cybersecurity standards, and SIF/SIL requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, pre-commissioning, operations, contractors, and equipment vendors.
• Monitor commissioning progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure timely punch list clearance.
• Ensure commissioning records and system completion databases are properly updated.
• Support system handover and achievement of commissioning and start-up milestones.
• Lead and coordinate the commissioning team, providing technical guidance and ensuring effective communication among all parties.
• Promote safe working practices, teamwork, and continuous improvement throughout commissioning activities.
