Job summary

TECH Automation seeks an I&C Technician to support installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and automation systems on-site across diverse industrial projects in Dubai. The role requires hands-on calibration, testing, and system checks to ensure reliable operation.

You will read P&IDs and datasheets, perform loop checks and functional testing, and document service activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in instrumentation, automation or related field.
• Hands-on experience with industrial automation systems.
• Ability to read drawings and interpret control schematics.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, test, and maintain instrumentation and control equipment.

• Troubleshoot field instruments, control valves, PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and datasheets.
• Assist with system integration, start-up, maintenance, and site acceptance testing.
• Prepare service reports and maintain accurate technical documentation.
• Follow safety procedures and coordinate effectively with engineers, project teams, and clients.

Qualification & Skills

• Diploma or Certificate in Instrumentation, Automation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in industrial automation, instrumentation, or commissioning projects.
• Hands-on knowledge of PLC, DCS, SCADA, and field instrumentation systems.
• Ability to calibrate, test, and troubleshoot industrial control and instrumentation equipment.
• Strong understanding of technical drawings, industrial communication signals, and control systems.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
