Job summary

Accor is seeking an HVAC Technician to install, maintain and repair air conditioning systems across hotel facilities. You will diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, replace components, and ensure safety standards are followed.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, HVAC certification, and strong troubleshooting and customer service skills. You will work with a team to keep guest comfort and system reliability high.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or certification in HVAC preferred.
• EPA Section 608 certification or similar license.
• Experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical components in HVAC.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in HVAC work.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to handle equipment and work in various conditions.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems and related equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in HVAC systems to ensure proper operation.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to avoid system breakdowns.
• Replace or repair defective parts such as compressors, motors, and thermostats.
• Test electrical circuits and components for safety and efficiency.
• Clean and inspect air filters, coils, and other components to maintain air quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
• Respond promptly to emergency repair requests.
• Coordinate with other technicians and departments to complete tasks efficiently.
