Job summary

Carrier Corporation is seeking an on-site HVAC technician in Abu Dhabi. The role involves installing, updating, operating, maintaining, repairing and removing HVAC equipment to meet customer requirements. You will follow standard procedures, inspect units, and keep logs of performance data and repairs.

The position requires a Diploma in Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration and at least 2 years in the HVAC field, with a drive to ensure safe, efficient operation. A driving license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma (or equivalent) in Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Field.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience / internship in the HVAC industry / field.
• A valid driving license is a plus.
• Minimum products knowledge (DX & Airside Equipment Reciprocating chillers.)

Responsibilities

• Works under direct supervision to perform on-site field service directly to customers regarding installing, updating, operating, maintaining, repairing and removing equipment to meet customer requirements.
• Uses standard procedures to install, test, service and repair basic equipment to conform with company operating specifications and customer requirements.
• Uses standard procedures to perform basic on-site preventative maintenance, routine repair and calibration after installation.
• Inspects equipment on a regular basis to ensure proper functioning.
• Maintains equipment logs that record performance problems, repairs, calibrations or tests and submits weekly reports summarizing these activities.
• Attend regular EH&S / Technical trainings & meetings.
