Job summary

Taaleem's DBSJ seeks passionate specialists in Geography or History to deliver a combined Humanities programme for Year 7-9 as we grow toward GCSEs. The successful candidate will design learning experiences that celebrate student individuality, challenge thinking, and embed essential competencies for an evolving world.

The Role

As we grow into Year 9 and look ahead to GCSEs, we are looking for a candidates who are passionate specialists in their own discipline through GCSE and beyond (both Geography and History roles available), but are also able to deliver our exciting combined Humanities programme to Year 7 and 8. As we continue our growth into the exam cycles, we are also excited to meet applicants who might also have other Humanities specialisms as part of their portfolio, such as Business Studies or BTEC Travel and Tourism.

The successful candidate will be a skilled classroom practitioner who contributes meaningfully to both student learning and school culture. They will design learning experiences that celebrate student individuality, challenge thinking, and develop essential competencies for success in an ever-changing world.
