AECOM Shared Services supports our employees globally by coordinating and managing the day-to-day operations of General Accounting, Human Resources, Administration, Marketing and Information Technology. We pride ourselves on delivering the best customer service to our people while building trust and relationships with all of our constituents. The main purpose of this role is to ensure best practice is maintained at all times and to manage the implementation and maintenance of HR programmes, policies and procedures in support of the business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with business partners by being a trusted advisor and partner.
  • Advising and working with the business in order to understand and proactively address HR issues such as employee relations, including investigations, complaints and enquiries.
  • Supporting senior management in retention and succession planning.
  • Advising and counseling the Abu Dhabi business on the interpretation of policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining close contact with the Project Leaders by attending regular HR visits.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of current HR programmes and policies, thereafter recommending and developing alternatives or enhancements in order to ensure HR best practice is maintained.
  • Advising on local employment legislation.
Qualifications

Degree qualified from an internationally accredited University in Human Resources, Law or other relevant subject and CIPD or equivalent is necessary.
