Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group (Holiday Inn & Staybridge Suites Dubai Business Bay) is seeking a Human Resources Intern to join our team in Dubai. This role focuses on supporting employee engagement activities, communications, and HR events within a dynamic hospitality environment.

You will assist in planning celebrations, developing culture initiatives, coordinating with departments, and contributing to hands-on HR administration while gaining valuable industry exposure in a global hotel group.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative, energetic, and enthusiastic about people and culture.
• Should thrive in an interactive environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of creating online collaterals, newsletters, flayers, posters etc.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing colleagues’ engagement programs, celebrations, and recognition events.
• Support in developing creative ideas to improve workplace culture and employee satisfaction.
• Help manage internal communications related to engagement activities (emails, posters, newsletters, etc.).
• Leading the welfare committee and promoting active participation among its members.
• Maintain and update engagement calendars, participation records, and event costing to DHR.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth execution of HR events and initiatives.
• Support HR in day-to-day administrative tasks as required (filing, documentation, onboarding support, etc.).
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to propose new engagement strategies.

The Holiday Inn & Staybridge Suites Dubai Business Bay, a cluster of hotels, is looking for a Human Resources - Intern to join our extraordinary team!
