Key responsibilities
- Act as a trusted HR business partner to local leadership, translating business goals into people strategies.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to drive culture, change management, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Ensure a seamless onboarding process to accelerate new hire productivity and integration.
- Ensure compliance with UAE Labor Law and applicable GCC regulations.
- Manage complex employee relations cases with fairness, consistency, and confidentiality.
- Oversee disciplinary procedures, terminations, and grievance resolutions in accordance with local labour practices.
- Drive annual appraisal cycles, bonus planning, and salary reviews aligned with HQ.
- Design and roll out employee engagement programs, wellbeing initiatives.
- Conduct pulse surveys and drive action plans to enhance employee experience.
- Manage end to end HR operations, HR audits, payroll etc. in line with local legal requirements.
- Own local policy development, ensuring alignment with regional norms.
- Oversee filing of work permits and ensure compliance.
- Office management.
Qualifications and experience
- 8-10 years of experience in HRBP within IT industry. Work experience in staffing will be preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of working in Dubai and in depth understanding of UAE market, labor laws etc.
- Understanding of KSA market is a big plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or relevant field.
- Has an eye for detail.
- Has worked in fast paced, matrix organization.
