A safety and engineering firm in the UAE seeks an experienced HSE professional to provide support for project teams. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience, including work in the Offshore Oil & Gas Sector, with strong communication skills and expertise in HSE compliance. This role demands a proactive approach to safety in challenging environments and offers regular employment with a focus on workplace diversity.
This person shall provide HSE support and assistance to Project Teams and work closely with HSE Team Lead / Manager, Construction Manager and FEED / EPC Contractor to prepare for the safe execution of work. He / she shall be responsible for identifying HSE related issues that affect the safe execution of work and will verify and monitor FEED / EPC Contractors' compliance with relevant UAE HSE Codes of Practice and other applicable industry HSE requirements, as well as ADNOC related policies, plans, procedures and guidelines.
He / she will be able to promote safe working systems, conduct incident investigations, and monitor the proper application of the Work Management Permit to Work system, SIMOPS and associated Job Safety Analysis, as well as other approved HSE and contractor related policies, plans, procedures and guidelines.
He / she shall have the following qualifications and work experience :
He / she shall be physically fit and able to withstand 60% of time doing walking / climbing stairs / moving around facilities in occasionally extremely hot, humid environments, and also have demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint or equivalent software.
He / she should possess good communication and language skills (written and verbal) and an ability to work with people across a diversity of cultures.
