Job summary

Al Marwan Group is seeking an HSE professional to ensure a safe working environment across heavy machinery workshops and sites in the UAE. You will implement, monitor, and enforce HSE policies in alignment with legal requirements and industry best practices.

The role requires 2–3 years of HSE experience, familiarity with UAE safety regulations, and the ability to conduct training and audits. UAE-based candidates with strong communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of HSE experience, preferably in heavy machinery workshops.
• Knowledge of UAE Labour and occupational safety requirements and OSHAD membership.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Hindi and/or Arabic language knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily workshop inspections to identify unsafe conditions and non‑compliance with safety procedures.
• Report unsafe acts, near-misses and incidents; assist investigations and corrective actions.
• Exercise Stop Work Authority for unsafe conditions and recommend controls before work resumes.
• Maintain safety documentation, inspection checklists and incident logs.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions and HSE training.
• Support permit‑to‑work for hot work, confined spaces and lifting operations.
• Promote a safety‑first culture among workshop staff and mechanics.
• Assist senior HSE staff in audits, risk assessments and regulatory checks.
