We are seeking a punctual energetic and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator & Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate should be wellversed in different locations across the UAE possess strong time management skills and be capable of working nights and weekends as needed. The role involves operating and maintaining beach cleaner machines transporting company staff materials and equipment to job sites and ensuring that vehicles are always in top condition. This position also requires physical stamina for lifting and loading heavy objects when needed.
HSE Standards Implementation
Oversee the implementation of Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) standards and ensure compliance with local regulations at the project site.
Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and enforce corrective actions to mitigate risks.
Develop and deliver HSE training to all site personnel ensuring that safety practices are adhered to at all times.
Monitor and report on the sites safety performance preparing weekly and monthly HSE reports for the project management team.
Assist in incident investigations and ensure proper documentation analysis and reporting of accidents or near misses.
Support the development and implementation of emergency response plans and ensure all site personnel are trained accordingly.
Ensure that all HSE equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) are available properly maintained and used correctly on site.
Participate in regular safety meetings and collaborate with project management to address safety concerns.
Maintain uptodate knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices ensuring site operations comply with these standards.
Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety Environmental Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in HSE management with at least 1 year on construction or industrial sites.
Relevant HSE certifications are preferred.
Proven experience in implementing HSE policies and procedures in a fastpaced environment.
Knowledge of local safety regulations and international safety standards.
Strong understanding of environmental protection and waste management practices.
Experience in conducting safety audits inspections and risk assessments.
Ability to use HSE management software and tools.
First Aid and CPR certified (preferred).
Fluent in English both written and verbal; additional language skills are a plus.
Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to risk identification and mitigation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage all site personnel.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and highpressure environment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Indepth knowledge of HSE legislation industry best practices and safety protocols.
