Job summary

A leading industrial solutions firm in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an HSE Officer to support safety initiatives at the Adnoc Refining plant. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with safety policies, conducting HSE training, and participating in risk assessments. Ideal candidates will have relevant education and 3-5 years of HSE experience, particularly in the Oil and Gas industry.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of HSE experience in any industry.
  • At least 2 years in managing HSE aspects in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Ability to speak, read and write English.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance to safety policies at the site.
  • Conduct HSE orientation and awareness sessions.
  • Implement the HSE Plan and participate in Risk Assessments.
  • Conduct HSE inspections and implement emergency response plans.

KBR’s Technology Led Industrial Solutions (TLIS) group is looking for a HSE Officer to support the maintenance of crude flexibility project critical equipment at Adnoc Refining, Ruwais, Abu Dhabi

Summary

Responsible for the promotion of exceptionally safe teamwork with the maintenance / operations team stationed at site as well as offices. Assists in the resolution of safety issues and the performance of field safety assessments

Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance to safety policies, rules and regulations at site
  • Conduct HSE orientation / induction/HSE awareness sessions to workers
  • Implementation of the HSE Plan
  • Knowledge and experience in implementing PTW system and Gas Testing
  • Report HSE observations and ensure timely closure of actions
  • Awareness on H2S & Breathing Apparatus
  • Participate in Risk Assessments
  • Conduct HSE inspections
  • Implement Emergency response plans/procedures.
  • Ability to speak, read and write English with good communication skills
Qualifications
  • Any Bachelor Degree OR Diploma from a reputed university/ Institution.
  • Minimum one of the following: NEBOSH GC/IGC
  • Diploma in Safety/HSE
  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • Minimum 3-5 Years of HSE experience in any industry. At least 2 years of experience in managing and implementing HSE aspects in the Oil and Gas industry
