Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Safety Inspector to oversee site safety across road and infrastructure projects. You will ensure compliance with HSE guidelines, project safety plans, and legal requirements to prevent incidents and maintain safe working conditions.

You will conduct daily inspections, monitor permits and risk assessments, and lead toolbox talks, while driving corrective actions and incident investigations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or Occupational Safety.
• 8+ years HSE experience in road or infrastructure projects.
• NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA certifications preferred.
• Strong hazard identification and reporting skills.
• Good communication and safety leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily HSE inspections of road projects, work zones, and equipment.
• Monitor risk assessments, method statements, and permit-to-work systems.
• Ensure workers use proper PPE and follow safety procedures.
• Identify hazards and unsafe practices; issue corrective actions and follow up.
