Job Requirement :

Under the guidance of the Director of Human Resources, you are responsible to provide a full range of government and legal support activities to ensure the smooth operation of the Human Resources Department and the property’s compliance with local labor laws and regulations. Contribute to the desired work culture around the four core values of the company.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

  • Process all types of visa applications including employment visas, residence visas, transit, tourist, as well as entertainers if required.
  • Process and renew all permits, licenses (ADTA license, Liquor License, Chamber of Commerce certificates, Civil Defense certificates, etc.).
  • Process and renew Walki Talki permits and RTA certificates.
  • Process and renew all entertainers visas and permits from ADTA (Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority).
  • Process and renew registrations for all hotel vehicles.
  • Process and obtain permits for special promotions such as raffles, publishing, or advertisement display, etc., as required.
  • Process and renew GRO cards, Establishment cards for immigration, Immigration Boxes, etc.
  • Arabic letters typing for employees if required, addressed to Traffic department, Immigration, etc.
  • Maintain and cultivate goodwill and good relationships with all government departments and agencies.
  • Be up to date regarding any changes or amendments to the prevailing laws, rules, forms, requirements, applications, fees, etc.
  • Obtain and update immigration list for the establishment from number of employees, fines, report visa expiry, etc.
  • Update the HR team with regards to any new changes in the procedures of any application related to the Government Relations tasks.
  • Ensure all employees visas and all required documents by the government are issued and up to date.
  • Prepare monthly reports for Arrival (new joiners), Departures (cancel visas), expense claims filing, etc.
  • Issuance for CID system for the Front Office and HR and update on a daily basis.
  • Pickup and drop off employees from and to the airport if needed.
  • Assist the hotel nurse with regards to the medical checkups for the employees and collect the medical reports and issuance for insurance cards and collecting them.
  • Issuance of Emirates ID for all hotel employees under the St. Regis Abu Dhabi sponsorship.

SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS

  • Pass any management requests to the maintenance department.
  • Participate in any training or development schemes as recommended by senior management.
  • Assist the hotel departments in any urgent assistance, applications, or Arabic letters, etc.

Comply with any reasonable requests made by the management to the best of your ability.

Education

Bachelor Degree holder.

Experience

Prior admin experience needed and some knowledge of Employment and Visa regulations. Must have at least 1 year of experience in the luxury hospitality industry; more experience is preferred.
