The Opportunity

The incumbent will be mainly responsible for the UAE and GCC national employees' pension process and support in delivering HR services at Zayed University, ensuring the University's benefits packages and related policies are applied in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulations. The job holder is also responsible for providing quality customer service and achieving the service level agreement.

The Responsibilities
  • Prepares and follows up on applications to the General Pension and Social Security Authority for UAE National employees, in accordance with Federal Law (No.7) of 2007 regarding end-of-service financial dues.
  • Responsible for processing employees' probation period end, including reminders to line managers via Oracle forms and issuing probation completion letters.
  • Prepares official letters for various entities such as banks, embassies, immigration, consulates, and police, as required.
  • Prepares correspondence and documents for government ministries, organizations, consulates, embassies, banks, and police departments.
  • Responds to employee queries, advises on university policies, and assists with issues related to government organizations.
  • Prepares No Objection Certificates and Service Certificates for employees as needed.
  • Issues benefits letters based on employee eligibility.
  • Processes payment requisitions for HR, including moving services, medical, escort, leave, and insurance (ADNIC).
  • Handles HR petty cash.
  • Processes visas for employees and their families, including new applications and renewals.
Federal Government Approval (Security Clearance)
  • Prepares and follows up on Federal Government Approval (FGA) requests for new hires and title changes, including system updates.
  • Acts as the first point of contact for security clearance matters on the Dubai Campus, regarding procedures and document requests.
  • Keeps track of security clearance process changes and briefs the HR team accordingly.
  • Maintains records and tracks all security clearance applications.
  • Prepares letters to police authorities for local hires.
The Requirements

Education & Experience

Must possess a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
