Our client is a leading company in the oil & gas industry, providing specialized services and solutions across the region.

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced HR Officer to join our team in Dubai (JAFZA). The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with JAFZA regulations. Key responsibilities include HR documentation management, employee relations, payroll processing, and support with general HR administrative tasks.

HR Operations & Administration
  • Manage full employee lifecycle documentation (onboarding, contracts, visa renewals, offboarding, etc.)
  • Maintain and update employee records in compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Liaise with JAFZA authorities for visa processing, work permits, and other related HR services.
  • Handle employee queries regarding policies, procedures, and labor law compliance.
Payroll & Compensation
  • Prepare and process monthly payroll in coordination with Finance.
  • Manage attendance, leaves, overtime, and other payroll components.
  • Ensure accurate calculation of, deductions, and end-of-service benefits as per UAE Labor Law.
Documentation & Compliance
  • Manage HR filing system (digital and physical), ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Monitor and update HR policies and procedures to comply with JAFZA and UAE labor laws.
  • Prepare HR reports and documentation required for audits or management review.
Employee Relations & Support
  • Provide support in employee engagement and welfare activities.
  • Assist in disciplinary procedures and conflict resolution, maintaining a positive working environment.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in an HR role within the UAE, with at least 1 year of hands-on experience working in JAFZA Freezone.
  • Industry: Oil & Gas sector experience is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of UAE labor law and JAFZA regulations.
    • Payroll processing knowledge (manual and automated systems).
    • Experience with HR documentation and document control.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
    • High attention to detail and.
    • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
    • Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
