Overview
Black & Grey HR is recruiting on behalf of a leading fit-out contractor for an experienced HR Manager. We’re looking for a hands‑on HR generalist who has led HR in construction / fit‑out / manufacturing, can manage a high‑volume site + office workforce, and ensure full HR, legal, and HSE compliance while supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead talent acquisition & onboarding for white‑collar and blue‑collar roles.
- Oversee HR operations: payroll administration, HRIS / employee records, attendance, and leave management.
- Manage government relations / PRO: visas, work permits, renewals, and related documentation.
- Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies & procedures in line with UAE Labour Law.
- Oversee camp / staff accommodation management and employee welfare.
- Drive employee engagement, performance management, and retention initiatives.
- Support employee relations: counselling, grievance handling, and disciplinary processes.
- Ensure HSE compliance in coordination with QHSE teams and promote a strong safety culture.
- Contribute to workforce planning and HR inputs for organizational development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in an HR Manager role.
- Industry experience is mandatory: construction, fit‑out, or manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law, immigration processes, and HSE requirements.
- Proven track record managing large, diverse workforces (including site‑based staff).
- Solid experience in payroll, HR operations, camp management, and visa processing.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication skills, and high integrity.
