Job summary

A global oil and gas company in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee HR operations for a workforce of about 1,000 employees predominantly in a blue-collar manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate will possess extensive HR experience, particularly in managing high-volume HR tasks, compliance with UAE labor laws, and employee support. This role offers a total cash package between AED 25,000 - 30,000 per month, along with medical insurance and annual flights.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of HR experience including managerial level.

Work Schedule: 6 days a week (Sunday - Friday). 6.30am to 3.15pm or 7.30am to 4.15pm

Salary: AED 25,000 - 30,000 per month total cash package + Medical Insurance for self and family + Annual Flights for self and family + Bonus (performance based, discretionary)

About the Role

We are on the lookout for an experienced HR Manager to oversee and manage HR operations for a large workforce consisting of circa 1,000 employees; majority of whom are blue‑collar manufacturing personnel, in Abu Dhabi's industrial complex, ICAD. This role is for a well reputed global oil and gas manufacturing business who are into the pipe fabrication space. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in handling high‑volume HR tasks, employee leave management, grievances, insurance administration, visa and contract renewals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all HR functions for a large employee base, especially blue‑collar personnel
  • Oversee leave management and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Handle employee insurance processes, including claims and renewals.
  • Manage contract renewals and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and company standards.
  • Provide HR support and guidance to employees and management.
Requirements
  • 7-10 years of HR experience, including career progression to HR managerial level.
  • Preferable background in construction (contracting), manufacturing, oil and gas sectors where you have hands on experience and know how for dealing with large volumes of blue‑collar personnel.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and MS Office.
Languages

Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred
