Job Title: HR Consultant
Location: Dubai - Hybrid
Contract length: 3 to 6 months
We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Consultant to establish and structure our HR department from the ground up. This senior-level role is part-time and temporary, focusing on creating the framework, policies, and procedures for all HR functions, ensuring compliance with best practices and local labor laws. The consultant will act as a trusted advisor to management and lay the foundation for a sustainable HR function.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement the full HR framework, policies, and procedures covering:
- Recruitment & selection
- Onboarding & offboarding
- Compensation & benefits
- Performance management
- Training & development
- Employee relations
- HR operations & administration
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and industry best practices.
- Draft employee handbook, contracts, and templates for all HR processes.
- Advise leadership on HR strategy, workforce planning, and organizational structure.
- Set up HR systems, tools, and documentation for future scalability.
- Provide guidance on company culture, employee engagement, and retention initiatives.
- Train management and key staff on applying HR policies and processes.
- Deliver a comprehensive HR setup within the agreed timeframe.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10+ years of senior-level HR experience, preferably with exposure to HR consultancy, HR setup, or transformation projects.
- Proven track record of drafting and implementing HR policies, procedures, and frameworks.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE/GCC labor laws and HR best practices.
- Strong strategic and operational HR skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a part-time, project-based capacity.
