HR Commercial Business Partner – Sales & Marketing

Salary - up to 20,000 AED plus family schooling contribution, tickets/medical, based in RAK.

Our client is a leading manufacturer in FMCG with offices throughout the MENA region. They are creating a new HR business partner position for the Sales and Marketing department. This role involves shaping processes and systems and requires a hands-on, start-up style approach to implement HR initiatives across multiple regions.

Responsibilities
  • Cover between 75 and 100 staff based in UAE, Pakistan, Egypt, KSA (to join), Turkey, Africa, and India. This will require considerable travel, sometimes on short notice; the candidate must be highly flexible and hold a passport that allows easy travel across these countries (visas).
  • Report to the HR Director and be based in RAK. For the first 6 months, the candidate should work in RAK to learn the business; after 6 months there is flexibility to be in Dubai 1–2 days per week.
  • Manage an entire business entity from an HR perspective on a regional scale.
  • Oversee payroll for the different countries corresponding to their headcounts.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures for regions where HR structures are relatively new—almost a start-up approach for some countries.
  • Ensure local compliance with labour laws and maintain good local stakeholder relationships.
  • Anticipate country-specific issues (economic and political) and assess their impact on HR and office operations, including salary inflation, civil unrest, and staff safety.
  • Strong background in at least one of these HR areas: compensation and benefits, training and development, or recruitment.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 6 years of HR experience at a managerial level, with experience managing an entire business entity.
  • Experience in a commercial environment (not manufacturing preferred).
  • Willing to work in RAK and travel at least 3 times per month.
  • Hands-on role developing and implementing processes across the region.
  • Excellent English communication skills, ability to present ideas, engage employees, and manage change effectively. Diplomacy with teams is essential.
  • This role is planned to be active in Q3.
