Technology Innovation Institute (TII) is seeking an HPC Engineer to deploy, optimize, and manage its CPU/GPU clusters in Abu Dhabi. You will work with researchers and infrastructure engineers to deliver reliable environments for scientific and AI workloads, including Slurm/Kubernetes-based orchestration, GPU driver maintenance, and container workflows.

Qualifikationen

• Practical experience administering HPC clusters or large-scale Linux environments.
• Strong Linux administration skills including packaging, permissions, processes and networking.
• Scripting in Bash or Python for automation.
• Experience with a workload scheduler or orchestration platform such as Slurm or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Ansible and Git for configuration management and version control.
• Understanding of GPU computing environments and container workflows.

Aufgaben

• Deploy, configure, and maintain HPC infrastructure including compute nodes, GPU servers, storage.
• Perform Linux system administration, provisioning, patching, upgrades.
• Configure workload scheduling/orchestration platforms like Slurm or Kubernetes.
• Support researchers in software environments, submissions, and debugging workloads.
• Diagnose hardware, OS, networking, storage, and performance issues.
• Maintain GPU drivers, runtimes, libraries, and container environments.
• Automate admin tasks with scripting and configuration management tools.
• Monitor cluster health and resource usage; assist with capacity planning.
• Support expansion, maintenance, and validation of new hardware.
• Maintain documentation and escalation procedures.
