Job Description

We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic guest-focused Housekeeping professionals who pride themselves on delivering extraordinary customer service and providing creative solutions to our guests.

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, your responsibilities include supervising the team of Housekeeping Attendants to achieve operational objectives while ensuring hotel cleanliness and maintenance standards are met. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Prepare job assignments for Housekeeping Attendants
  2. Issue keys and supplies to Housekeeping Attendants
  3. Manage VIPs, Do Not Disturb, Sleep Out, Double-Lock Rooms, and take appropriate actions
  4. Attend daily meetings and receive special instructions
  5. Handle check-outs and report rooms as vacant
  6. Address guest special requests
  7. Inspect cleaned areas using checklists, ensure supplies meet standards, and report repairs
  8. Document found articles and hand them over to the lost and found department
  9. Supervise cleaning of guest rooms, corridors, and stairwells
  10. Train and assist Housekeeping Attendants and report performance issues
  11. Assist with inventory management and ensure proper handling and maintenance of equipment
Skills, Education, Qualifications & Experience

Ideally, candidates should have a hospitality diploma or vocational training with prior minor supervisory experience in a hotel Housekeeping Department. Good command of written and spoken English, strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills are essential. Computer literacy and experience with Opera are advantageous.

Knowledge & Competencies

The ideal candidate will be friendly, caring, culturally sensitive, and detail-oriented. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with a positive attitude towards working with a multicultural team and guests, is important. Additional competencies include:
