Job summary

A leading hospitality company in Dubai is seeking a Housekeeping Coordinator responsible for managing the housekeeping office and ensuring excellent guest experiences. The role requires strong organizational, communication, and planning skills. Key responsibilities include task allocation, managing guest requests, and ensuring safety regulations are followed. The ideal candidate should be resilient and able to work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Housekeeping office
  • Receive all incoming calls and respond accordingly
  • Allocate room and task lists to team members
  • Ensure keys are issued in line with security procedures
  • Log and store all lost property after each shift
  • Manage guest requests and enquiries immediately
  • Ensure all relevant guest information is communicated to Housekeepers
  • Carry out administrative and IT duties
  • Organise and control extra duties and special tasks
  • Report all necessary maintenance daily
  • Liaise with Reception and Guest Relations
  • Ensure communication is clear and consistent
  • Control staff dry cleaning and guest laundry
  • Update system to maximize room return
  • Handle emergencies in the department
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Regulations
