Job summary

Work corp is seeking a Housekeeping Manager in Abu-Dhabi, UAE, to lead housekeeping services for a hotel. You will supervise staff, maintain high cleanliness standards, and drive safety and efficiency across guest rooms and public areas.

The role requires proven hospitality management experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage schedules, training, and performance. A relevant hospitality qualification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager or similar role in hospitality/hotel management industry.
• Ability to motivate staff to perform their best.
• Excellent organizational, problem solving and time management skills.
• Good knowledge of customer service principles.
• Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to use computer software including MS Office packages.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Relevant qualification in hospitality/hotel management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate housekeeping activities in accordance with established standards, regulations, and procedures.
• Develop work schedules for staff members and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Ensure all safety regulations are met and equipment is properly maintained.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas regularly to ensure they are clean and well maintained.
• Manage the recruitment, training, scheduling, supervision, evaluation and discipline of all housekeeping staff members.
• Monitor storerooms to ensure adequate supplies are available at all times.
• Create reports on key performance indicators such as room occupancy rate etc.
• Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Remain informed of industry trends in order to make recommendations on improvements to current practices or services offered.
