Job description

A Housekeeping Attendant will support all Housekeeping and Laundry operations by addressing guest requests, analyzing each request, and delegating tasks among team members to ensure work is completed efficiently and promptly, providing an exceptional experience for our guests.

What will I be doing?

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will assist the Housekeeping and Laundry teams by delegating daily activities within the hotel. Specifically, your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service in all areas of Housekeeping and Laundry, in accordance with hotel brand standards.
  • Monitoring the appearance, standards, and performance of team members, focusing on training and teamwork.
  • Providing excellent guest service.
  • Assisting with the availability and release of rooms for guest service, in coordination with Floor Housekeeping Supervision.
  • Managing department controls, such as staff scheduling, key control, incident reporting, and linen and uniform management.
  • Checking daily guest information in CRM to meet guest preferences and requests promptly.
  • Requesting flowers for special occasions and providing embroidery for special linens (e.g., weddings, maternity).
  • Handling monthly Lost and Found items and donations.
  • Checking and coordinating the cleaning or repair of uniforms.
  • Managing document and personnel traffic within the department, including daily linen releases from Laundry.
  • Processing daily laundry services for guests.
  • Closing monthly Laundry expenses and provisioning reports.
  • Replacing a Laundry Attendant during holidays, days off, or absences.
