Job summary

Raffles Dubai invites applications for a Housekeeping Attendant to uphold the hotel’s luxury standards across guest rooms, balconies, bathrooms, restaurants and public areas. This position reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor and requires meticulous attention to cleanliness and presentation.

We seek individuals with strong organizational skills, guest-focused engagement, and a commitment to the Raffles brand promise of excellence and belonging. Previous luxury hotel experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Secondary education as a minimum requirement.
• Good knowledge of Housekeeping Operations.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar capacity in a luxury hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all assigned areas to hotel standards.
• Follow SOPs and service procedures to ensure guest satisfaction.

Job Description

We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Raffles Dubai as our new Housekeeping Attendant to provide a consistent housekeeping service to guest rooms, balconies, bathrooms, restaurants, and public areas that meets the hotel’s standards for cleanliness and presentation. This position reports to Housekeeping Supervisor.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all assigned areas in accordance with established hotel standards, ensuring a high level of cleanliness, presentation, and attention to detail.
• Always follow LQA standards and service procedures to achieve a high level of guest satisfaction and positive Trust You Survey results.
• Ensure proper adherence to all Housekeeping Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Replenish guest amenities and supplies as required, ensuring guest rooms are fully equipped.
• Respond to guest requests promptly, professionally, and courteously.
• Report any damage, defects, or malfunctioning equipment in guest rooms or public areas to the Supervisor immediately.
• Ensure all housekeeping equipment is kept clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition.
• Accurately complete the assigned section room report and daily productivity report.
• Attend daily briefings with the Supervisor and carry out all assigned duties and tasks efficiently.
• Report all lost and found items to the Housekeeping Office immediately and strictly follow the hotel's Lost and Found procedures.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and report them to the Supervisor promptly for appropriate follow-up.
• Report any unusual behavior or suspicious activities observed in guest rooms, corridors, or public areas to the Supervisor immediately.
• Act promptly on guest concerns to prevent dissatisfaction and recover the guest experience whenever possible.
• Accurately record and update room status for the assigned section.
• Comply with all hotel health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Maintain high standards of Raffles grooming, appearance, and hygiene in accordance with hotel requirements.
• Attend all required meetings, participate actively in training sessions, and LQA training programs.
• Perform valet and other housekeeping support services when required, including linen delivery and laundry order processing.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of different guest levels, including VIP classifications, as well as room categories and their specific requirements.
• Follow all fire evacuation procedures and participate in required fire safety and first aid training.
