Job summary

Fairmont Ajman is a beachfront hotel in Ajman seeking a Kitchen/Laundry Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair kitchen and laundry equipment throughout the property. The role ensures safe, efficient operation, minimizing downtime and ensuring compliance with hotel standards and manufacturer specifications.

Key responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and coordinating with Kitchen, Stewarding, Housekeeping, and Laundry teams to minimise operational

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or vocational qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration, HVAC, or a related field.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing, heating, and refrigeration equipment.
• Maintain and test ovens, combi ovens, ranges, dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, and laundry gear.
• Coordinate with other departments to minimize disruption to operations.
• Monitor safety procedures and ensure PPE usage.
