RIXOS Abu Dhabi is seeking a professional Hotel Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for guests and staff, reflecting the luxury standards of the property. You will be responsible for airport transfers, concierge-assisted guest transport, and maintaining vehicle readiness with a high level of discretion and courtesy.

The role requires a valid UAE driving license, a clean driving record, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Valid UAE driving license.
• Previous experience as hotel driver, chauffeur, or luxury hospitality driver is preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of Abu Dhabi roads and surrounding areas.
• Excellent driving record and knowledge of UAE traffic regulations.
• Good communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.

Job description

The Hotel Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and professional transportation services to hotel guests, management, and colleagues. The driver represents the hotel at all times and is expected to deliver a high standard of luxury hospitality while ensuring guest comfort, safety, and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport hotel guests, VIPs, executives, and colleagues to and from the hotel, airport, and other designated locations.
• Provide airport transfers and hotel transportation services in a professional and courteous manner.
• Welcome and assist guests with luggage and personal belongings when required.
• Maintain a high standard of guest service and create a positive first and last impression of the hotel.
• Drive hotel vehicles safely and responsibly while complying with UAE traffic laws and hotel safety policies.
• Maintain complete knowledge of Abu Dhabi, major attractions, shopping malls, business districts, airports, and other important locations.
• Check assigned vehicles before and after each shift to ensure they are clean, safe, and in good working condition.
• Ensure hotel vehicles are kept clean, presentable, fueled, and properly maintained.
• Report any vehicle defects, accidents, maintenance requirements, or safety concerns immediately to the relevant department.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, mileage, fuel consumption, and guest transportation where required.
• Assist the Concierge and Front Office teams with guest transportation arrangements.
• Handle guest requests and inquiries professionally and refer issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding hotel guests, VIPs, management, and hotel operations.
• Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and standards related to safety, security, grooming, and guest service.
• Perform additional transportation or hotel-related duties as assigned by management.

Desired Candidate Profile

Valid UAE driving license.

Previous experience as a hotel driver, chauffeur, limousine driver, or similar role, preferably within a luxury hotel.

Good knowledge of Abu Dhabi roads and surrounding areas.

Excellent driving record and strong knowledge of UAE traffic regulations.

Good communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Professional appearance, positive attitude, and excellent customer-service skills.

Ability to communicate politely and confidently with guests from different nationalities and cultures.

Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, public holidays, early mornings, and late nights.

Physically fit and able to assist guests with luggage when required.

Previous experience with VIP guests or luxury hospitality is highly desirable.
