Job summary

Freelancer Prox is seeking a qualified Home Health Physical Therapist to provide patient-centered care in home settings across the UAE. The role emphasizes evaluating, planning, and delivering evidence-based physical therapy to improve mobility and independence.

You will collaborate with physicians and nurses, maintain detailed records, and stay current with best practices through continuing education, while delivering compassionate, patient-focused service to diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid license to practice physical therapy in the United Arab Emirates
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a home health setting
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and assessments of patients' physical abilities and needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' conditions and goals
• Provide hands-on physical therapy treatments to patients in their homes
• Instruct patients and their families on exercises and activities to improve mobility, strength, and flexibility
• Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients on injury prevention and home exercise programs
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to ensure comprehensive care for patients
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the practice of physical therapy
• Keep abreast of new developments and techniques in the field of physical therapy through continuing education and professional development opportunities
