Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced High School Math Teacher to join our team. As a Math Teacher you will be responsible for teaching and guiding students in grades 9-12 helping them develop a strong understanding of mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills.

• Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents
• Use technology to enhance learning and keep students engaged
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
• Participate in school events and extracurricular activities such as math clubs and competitions
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance grades and progress
• Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns
• Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in math education

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Mathematics or a related field
• Teaching certification or license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching high school math
• Strong knowledge of math concepts and ability to teach a variety of courses including Algebra Geometry and Calculus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment
