Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education degree or an initial degree combined with a teaching qualification in Computer Science.
• Proven experience teaching Computer Science at High School level.
• Experience in American curriculum or IB curriculum schools preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inquiry-based learning and practical CS instruction.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and interactive Computer Science lessons to High School students in accordance with the school’s curriculum and standards.
• Develop creative teaching strategies to foster enthusiasm and critical thinking in CS.
• Apply inquiry-based learning approaches and practical CS instruction.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive learning environment.
• Participate in parent conferences and maintain open communication with parents.
