Job summary

Dubai American Academy (DAA) seeks outstanding High School Biology Teachers to join from August 2027. This GEMS Education flagship school offers an American curriculum with IB Diploma Programme, and has an Outstanding KHDA rating.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Education or equivalent with biology specialization.
Experience teaching Biology at High School, ideally in American or IB curriculum.
Strong knowledge of inquiry-based learning and practical science instruction.
Excellent communication and collaboration with students, parents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging Biology lessons to high school students following the school curriculum.
Develop creative teaching strategies to foster curiosity and critical thinking.
Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure curricular continuity and a positive learning environment.
Participate in parent-teacher conferences and communicate student progress.
