Job summary

mcg asia in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced C++ Developer to help build a high-performance trading platform used in a sophisticated financial markets environment. You will work with engineers, quantitative specialists, traders and other technology stakeholders to design, develop and improve core components of the firm's trading system.

Candidates should have strong C++ experience, solid OO design knowledge, and expertise in concurrency, low-latency and distributed systems,

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience delivering software in C++
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design and data structures
• Experience building performance-sensitive, concurrent or distributed systems
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix and memory management
• Knowledge of multithreading, networking and performance optimisations

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-performance C++ applications
• Build reliable, scalable components for trading/financial platforms
• Work on low-latency, high-throughput systems
• Collaborate with traders, quants and other engineers
• Analyse and resolve complex technical and production issues
