Job summary

Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital, part of the M42 network, seeks a Specialist in Emergency Medicine to join its dynamic Emergency Department in the Northern Emirates region. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered emergency care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely assessment and management of acute conditions.

The role requires a medical degree with specialization in Emergency Medicine, board certification or equivalent, and DOH license eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must hold Medical Degree with specialization in Emergency Medicine.
• Board certification or equivalent preferred (Arab/ Syrian/ European / UK / American boards accepted).
• Valid DOH license or eligibility for Specialist Emergency Medicine required.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant ED experience; ability to manage high patient volumes.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care for patients with acute and critical conditions.
• Triage, assess, and stabilize patients per international standards and hospital protocols.
• Manage high patient volumes while maintaining quality and safety of care.
• Perform emergency procedures and interventions as required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for continuity of care and appropriate disposition.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and departmental activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient records in line with regulations.
• Support junior medical staff and contribute to clinical teaching as needed.
